Why Band Together? By banding together as producers of similar content we can create a web presence beyond what we could create all working separately. By placing a preview of our content and a link to its source on a common page we build a larger more robust single offering to the SciFi and Fantasy fans on the internet. By each of us linking from our sites, domains, blogs, and social networks back to a common source we all help direct traffic to it and ultimately us. I would say that most of us, especially those who use POD services, have websites outside the POD. We all receive a small to medium amount of traffic from our individual efforts. We all probably sell a few copies a month from that traffic. We also know that if we had more traffic looking specifically for what we write we would sell more. That is where link sharing comes in. by placing your link and content description on Sci-Tinuum you get a link to your stuff. When you then place a link within your web presence to Sci-Tinuum you link back to your link again. What we are all doing is sharing our individual traffic (hits per month) with everyone on Sci-Tinuum . We as a group have much more to offer to a potential consumer of SciFi and Fantasy than we do as individuals. So the surfer that lands on Sci-Tinuum via your link will probably like the site and book mark it. Since your link is on Sci-Tinuum they have in essence booked marked you. They are also more likely to pick up a link and share it with friends from a site with lots of content as apposed to a site with content from a single writer.
